Data safety

This page matches what QRX Chat collects. Data is sent over HTTPS. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Collected for the app to work

• Name — the profile name you type.
• Phone number — to sign in and to let someone find you on QRX Chat.
• About text and status — only what you publish.
• Photos and videos — only files you choose to send or set as a photo.
• Voice — voice notes you send, and the live audio of a call you join.
• Messages — the chats you send and receive.
• Last seen and session — so the app knows you are signed in.
• Device push token — so an incoming call can reach the phone.

Not collected

• Your phone's contact list. Search is by a number you type. The address book is not uploaded.
• Your precise location. A location is sent only when you choose to share one in a chat.
• A saved recording of voice or video calls.
• Advertising identifiers.

Deletion

You can delete the account and the data above from Settings → Delete my account in the app, or at https://qrx.chat/delete-account.php. Details of what is removed and what is kept for a short time are on that page.
